B A B E L by `getcarter is a brilliant capture of architecture, dramatic looking sky and lighting, makes it an incredible shot of a moment worth to be seen and cherished. Astounding tones... a photo that should not be ignored (Suggested by =Max6 and Featured by ^l8)
Not only is the photograph stunning, but the building itself looks amazing - the kind of subject it's impossible to walk past without having to stop and take photos.
The sky looks like it planned to be exactly the way it is here at precisely the moment you decided to take the picture. Everything works so well together to form a satisfyingly cohesive, well-balanced and appealing image.
As someone who is supremely crap at architectural photography, I fully appreciate the importance of having a good (and well exercised!) eye for the perfect angle as well as the perfect moment. I love looking at pictures like this, which capture the world from a viewpoint which doesn't come naturally to me and give me a delicious insight into someone else's unique vision.
There's nothing I would suggest to change in this picture. Does that make this not a critique? I'm never sure when it comes to pictures that I only have positive feedback for! I would love to see more of that building though, if you have any other photos of it in your gallery.
First off this is a stunning photograph! The Sun flare is in the perfect place compliments the photo very well. Lovely angle it doesn't make the building look huge but it still give you the true high of the building. wonderful contrast and lighting in it. It has a great mysterious feel to it.
My favorite thing about this photograph is the reflection of the clouds on this building, it just tops it off.
This photograph is wonderful. Great quality, composure, lighting, and contrast.
Great job this is a beautiful photograph. Lovely work, I look forward to more work of yours.
The photograph is wonderful! It's absolutely amazing how you captured the sun and the clouds, giving the building such a science fiction look. It looks so unreal. Your're great! ~sd
