This picture is really amazing, I love how there's so much to look at. I love how you've added text which can usually be cheesy but it just makes the picture more unique...even the weird cropping works really well. I can't really fault anything!
Best shot I've seen in this month's collection so far. i like how each kid is playing it's part in the image, although my favourite is the last running kid - I think the action of his arms and hands kind of give the shot the movement it needs
Frankly, I'm very weak on technique, I'm really more of a backstage-style photographer, but that doesn't stop me from recognising talent when I see it. This is a rich portfolio, consisting largely of well thought out works that require preparation, not only prowess with the camera.
I guess that with luck one could achieve what you have done here, but I very much doubt it is the case. Can't help quoting again Arnold Palmer the golfer who once answered a critic by saying .. "it's strange, but the more I practice, the luckier I seem to get"!
The eye turns around the image to return again to the starting point, taking in the rich information in the process. A wonderful photo, that may have taken many tries to get right, bravo. The only thing I would attempt, though totally unecessary, would be to crop the picture so as to leave out that blob on the right, or maybe to enlarge the frame so as to include more of it. I love child photography actually, but I don't choose to show my photos here alongside with the glamour work.
i really love the framing here, but personally i wish that the values on the children were a little better...as they are currently they read as very flat (which i see from the above comments that some people like ) but I find the flatness distracting...I want to see their faces and have them be the focus, but instead all I see are the clouds...
you have a gorgeous gallery!! I love the scuba shots :-D
