Nightdives are my absolute favourite if it comes to visit the world beyond surface - especially if you can see the full moon form the bottom!

I think that a very important aspect about photography is its impact on the viewer's emotions and perceptions, far more important than the purely aesthetical aspect. This photograph, when you see it for the first time, tell you a lot of things, things about a far place, maybe, the dark depth of the sea, mysteries and secrets. You may see how hardly the poor light penetrate this great mass of water and life. I found this photograph simple and incisive in its ability of telling something directly to your mind. Analizing it, I gave the rank 4.5 out of 5 to Vision because of the power of catching your attention and your eyes of this photograph. 4 stars out of 5 for the Originality, telling that I found this work original and particular even if not so incredibly original. 4.5 stars to Tecnique, because it's a beautiful example of well-taken underwater photography: composition is very nice and balanced between the amazing light source and the ethereal rock in the lower part on the right, colours are well calibrated with a blue which passes from a very light tone to a dark and strong blue and exposition is just nice because of the beautiful contrast between the light and the dark and beautiful rocks and profundities. Finally, I rate the Impact 5 out of 5 because of the powerful and intimate impact you can feel seeing this photograph. A gorgeous work.
