Winter is on the run - you can see how it´s being chased by spring, hiding behind a foggy curtain.
I am so glad I took this early walk!

Originality Technique ImpactThe most captivating photograph I have seen in a while...just so perfectly tranquil and full of a still beauty.
I love the hint at a horizon through the mist, and those two tiny little dark objects far out in the water...what are they, I keep wondering? The heavy mist creates a wonderfully eerie atmosphere and the whole place seems to whisper of secrets and ancient memories: an effect which is added to by the wooden jetty, which looks as if it just floats on a cloud of darkness, above the water.
Lastly, I love how the water is pierced by the reflected sun, which is where the gentle ripples seem to originate from, somehow...a really beautiful, atmospheric piece, and I love it! <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="
